ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS CHICAGO - Ida B. Wells Scholarship Fund
Established on the University of Illinois Chicago Campus, this scholarship fund was created to provide financial assistance and support for underrepresented, first-time freshmen across the academic disciplines. The first of its kind, the University of Illinois Chicago and family of Ida B. Wells is honored to create such a fund tailored to meet some of the financial needs of this population to help them pursue their higher education dreams.
The toys collected during the Toy Drive will be given to University of Illinois Chicago students with small children.
