Future Leaders in Health

The UIC Future Leaders in Health Program is a free summer program in partnership with Public Health designed for INCOMING UIC STUDENTS interested in healthcare careers. This program aims to introduce students to the many factors that affect the health of communities and society. UIC faculty will help students examine both the historical and contemporary public health stories focusing on systems, professions, and skills associated with the health industry.

Participants will be enrolled in TWO classes throughout the program: one course in Public Health and a Policy Studies course. Participants will also have access to professionals within the health field and participate in speaker series aimed to engage and encourage their interest in healthcare careers.
